  4. *** USING THE UNINSTALLATION PROGRAM: UNINSTAL.EXE
  5.  
  6. The easiest way to un-install WizManager is to use the 
  7. un-install program provided with the REGISTERED version of
  8. WizManager. Make sure that File Manager is not running
  9. (WizManager is not loaded) when you launch UNINSTAL.EXE. 
  10. UNINSTAL.EXE is available on WizManager's installation
  11. disk (disk 2 for 5 1/4" disks).
  12.  
  13. *** MANUALLY UN-INSTALL WIZMANAGER
  14.  
  15. To un-install WizManager manually  you must erase or suspend  
  16. the WizManager specific information in the WINFILE.INI file 
  17. (not WIN.INI!) and, if desired, delete all of the WizManager 
  18. files.
  19.  
  20. 1. WINFILE.INI
  21.  
  22. Edit the WINFILE.INI file with notepad.exe or any other text 
  23. editor (not a word processor, unless you know how to save the 
  24. modified file as a text file). WINFILE.INI should be in your 
  25. Windows directory.
  26.  
  27. Look for the [AddOns] section and either:
  28.  
  29.   - Delete the entry (entire line) which starts with
  30.     WizManager=(...)WIZMGR.DLL, where (...) is the path to
  31.     WIZMGR.DLL.
  32.  
  33.     or
  34.  
  35.   - Add a ';' (without the quotes) at the beginning of the
  36.     entry WizManager=(...)WIZMGR.DLL. Adding a ';' makes the
  37.     line a comment and is therefore discarded by File
  38.     Manager. Choosing this method to un-install WizManager
  39.     leaves you the option to have WizManager back at any time
  40.     by simply removing the ';' at the beginning of the entry.

  43. 2. DELETION OF WIZMANAGER FILES
  44.  
  45. If you choose to completely remove WizManager, your second step 
  46. is to erase all the WizManager files in the directory where 
  47. WizManager is installed. You can look up in WINFILE.INI what 
  48. WizManager's path is under the [WizManager] section in the 
  49. WizManagerPath entry.

  51. WizManager files to delete are:
  52.  
  53.   WIZMGR.DLL
  54.   WIZMGR.HLP
  55.   WIZMGR.INI
  56.   WIZUNIT.EXE
  57.   INSTALL.LOG
  58.   README.TXT  
  59.   NETWORK.TXT
  60.   ORDERFRM.TXT
  61.   UNINSTAL.TXT
  62.  
  63. Another WizManager file has been installed during the 
  64. installation process in your Windows directory. You can delete 
  65. it as well:
  66.  
  67.   WIZBAR.DLL
  68.  
  69.  
  70. If you wish to have WizManager again available and running, 
  71. remove the ';' you placed in the WINFILE.INI (if you opted for 
  72. this route) or re-install WizManager using the installation 
  73. program (INSTALL.EXE) provided with WizManager.
